Meridian ("we", "our", "us") operates the Meridian mobile application. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.

• Account information: Email address, name, and profile details you provide when creating an account.
• Health and fitness data: With your permission, we access Apple Health data including steps, sleep, heart rate, heart rate variability, and active calories. This data is used solely to display your metrics and share them with your coach.
• Body measurements and photos: Weight, body scans, and progress photos you voluntarily submit.
• Nutrition data: Food logs, macronutrient tracking, and barcode scan results.
• Messages: Communications between you and your coach within the app.
• Device information: Device type and push notification tokens for delivering notifications.

How We Use Your Information

• To provide personalized coaching, training programs, and nutrition plans.
• To display your health metrics and track progress over time.
• To enable communication between you and your coach.
• To send push notifications about workouts, messages, and program updates.

Data Sharing

Your personal data is shared only with your assigned coach within the app. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes. We use Supabase for secure data storage and authentication.

Apple Health Data

Health data accessed from Apple Health is used exclusively within the app to display your metrics and is not shared with any third parties. You can revoke Health access at any time in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Health.

Data Security

We use industry-standard encryption and security measures to protect your data. All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Biometric credentials (Face ID) are stored securely in your device's keychain and never leave your device.

Data Retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.

Your Rights

You can access, update, or delete your personal data through the app's settings. To request full account deletion, contact us at the email below.
